POONCH, June 27: Glamrous Club today registered a five wickets win against Shanker Nagar (Junior) Club in the ongoing District Poonch Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here.
Shankar Nagar Club, batting first made 199 runs losing all their wickets in 39.2 overs of the 40 overs game.
Altaf played fine innings of 50 runs, followed by Aman, who contributed 28 runs to the total. From Glamrous Club, Pawan clinched four wickets for 22 runs while Laxman and Ritik shared two wickets each.
Later, Glamrous club chased the total in 26 overs losing five wickets. Sachin played match winning innings of 66 runs while Rydham (49) and Pawan (36) were other main contributors to the total. Fro Shankar Nagar, Sourab and Kartik took two wickets each.
Later, Pawan was adjudged as man of match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh Toofan, Sanjay Misri (umpires) and Amandeep Sharma (scorer).
