Girsh Juyal took those political parties to task which boycotted the ULB elections in the State to thwart the democratic process at grass root level. He however expressed the hope that realizing their blunder, they will revoke the boycott call and participate in the ensuing Panchayat elections to strengthen democracy at grass root level.
He said MRM will run four national level programmes for the welfare of the people of the country. To start with the Manch, will organise Parivar Sullah Kendras (family consultation centers), he added.
He said these Kendras will concentrate on welfare of the family and if family is weak the nation can’t be prosperous and strong. “Our objective is to ensure happiness in each and every family all over country and in this regard the Kendra will look into their problems of families and suggest measures for their solution”, he added.
He said the secondly the Morcha will constitute Khudai Khidmatgar Committees who will take care of the people who due to one or other reasons lost their job. To provide support to that family till it again stands upon and starts earning the livelihood the Committee’s Food Bank will provide food grains and other assistance to such family, he added.
Besides, the Manch has also started a Social Pension Scheme under which Rs 500 will be paid per month to the destitutes and widows who are unable to feed their children. This scheme will be extended to the orphan children and those of terror victims, he added.
Juyal said that Manch has launched a nation wide month -long campaign from October 21 to November 21 to appeal the people to boycott Chinese goods especially on Diwali and Eid festivals as in 1962 on October 21 China attacked India and the war lasted for complete one month.
He said by purchasing Chinese goods we are giving an undue benefit to a nation which is hell bent to damage us. Moreover the Manch will organise special programmes on December 24 this year on its 16th anniversary. It will also observe special programme on Eid Milad-un-Nabi falling on November 21, he added.
