RAJOURI, Mar 22: A young girl sustained serious electric shock while working at her house in village Dandesar, Nowshera sector, here today.
The girl, identified as Suman, daughter of Parkash, resident of Madhya Pradesh and presently putting up at village Dandesar, accidently came in contact with a live wire. She was rushed to Sub District Hospital Nowshera where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of her serious condition.
Meanwhile, a young girl of 22 attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her house in Nowshera. She was also shifted to SDH Nowshera and then referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. Cause of provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
