JAMMU, June 4: Keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic, University of Jammu has proposed objective type pattern of examination instead of descriptive questions for the students of semester 6th. In order to familiarize the students with the new pattern of examination, GDC Nowshera has taken an initiative to organize online Quiz competitions in various subjects being taught at the undergraduate level.
In this series, Department of Botany today organized the first online Quiz competition.
The Quiz was organized by Prof Pooja Devi, Head of Department, Botany and Dr Shagun Bali under the overall supervision and guidance of Dr Surinder Kumar, Principal of the College.
A large number of participants from 20 different institutions of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir took part in the competition.
11 students scored 100 percent, while 8 students got 98 percent and 6 of them scored 96 percent marks.
These top contestants were awarded with the “Certificates of Excellence”.
