JINDRAH, June 24: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah today organised a blood donation camp at village Jindrah under the supervision of a team from the Blood Bank of Government Medical College Jammu.
The college volunteers enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp. Volunteers namely Priya Jamwal, Diksha Jamwal, Varun, Aman, Riya Jamwal, Ishika Sharma and others donated blood.
Not only the students of college but also the locals participated in this blood donation camp. They included Ram Singh, Maheshwar Jamwal, Anil Sharma, Vikram Singh, Ajay Sharma, Vikrant Singh and Prince Sharma.
The campaign was well organized by Dr Sunil Sharma, Programme Officer, NSS unit of GDC Jindrah under the guidance of Prof Rajshree Dhar, the Principal of GDC Jindrah.
The Program was initiated by planting saplings of different plants like Mango, Guava, Litchi, Lagat etc. Today’s campaign was compiled by Dr Seema.
