Ganga takes stock of public grievances

JAMMU, July 30: Member Legislative Assembly, Chander Prakash Ganga today held an extensive tour of Ward Number 5 and 6 to take stock of public grievances besides assessing the status of development works being done in the area.
The people of these areas projected various issues regarding development and welfare of their respective areas seeking an early redressal of the same.
Ganga, while taking stock of public issues, assured them that he will take up their grievances with the concerned officers for an early redressal. He also had feedback from the people about the status of development works being executed in their respective areas under different State and Centrally sponsored schemes. “The people have a crucial role in ensuring that the development and welfare programmes are effectively implemented for optimum outcome”, he maintained.
He fervently appealed the people to extend cooperation to the Government agencies for better results.
Ganga, while elaborating on Modi Government’s vision and commitment of empowering villages with modern infrastructure and requisite facilities, said that the Centre Government has launched a slew of schemes to empower the poor and needy people like Ujjwala, Soubhgya scheme, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, several insurance schemes.
The demands raised by the people included construction of lanes and drains in Ward Number 5 and 6, installation of poles in Vishwkarma Mandir, upgradation of a transformer in Ward Number 5 and others.
Later, the MLA convened a meeting with the BJP party workers to discuss strategies for upcoming Municipal elections.
Ganga, while expressing optimism over winning Municipal elections in all 13 wards of the Muncipal Committee Baribrahmana ,    exhorted the workers to work in a collective manner with a team spirit and make the people aware about the reformative and revolutionary steps initiated by the Modi Government envisaging their socio-economic emancipation. He asked them to hold regular meetings in their respective areas with focus on highlighting all schemes launched by Modi Government for empowerment of poor and needy.
The MLA elaborated on strategies being put in place for successful results in the upcoming election, and stressed upon mobilising “effective teams” of workers to ensure an emphatic win for the party.
