DODA, July 5: Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Ghat registered a convincing victory over Raja Warriors (RW) Andhra Pradesh in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here.
The tournament is organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda with the support of District Administration and District Police Doda.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, FCC Ghat scored 130 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Raman Dhiman top scored with 66 runs, while Ajay Dahiya contributed 18 runs to the total. From bowling side, K Sahu and R Thata Babu bagged 3 wickets each.
In reply, Raja Warriors Cricket Club bundled out for 103 runs, thus lost the match by 28 runs. Muralu VSP top scored with 59 runs while Jagadish added 10 runs to the total. From bowling side, Ankit Tomar took 3 important wickets while Pardeep and Rahul Redhi took 2 wickets each. Raman Dhiman of Friends Cricket Club Ghat was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant batting performance who was given prize by Inspector Sanjay Manhas along with Ravinder Kumar.
The match was officiated by Harish Raza and Yousuf Raza as umpires while Sandeep Kaushik maintained the scorebook.
