Jammu, June 11: Grand Plaza Lords Inn in association with Center for Eye Sight-Jammu organized a free eye check up camp for Jammuites in Chambers Hall at Grand Plaza Lords Inn Hotel.
The camp was inaugurated by Suman Bansal, Managing Director Grand Plaza hotels Private Limited.
Speaking on the occasion Bansal said, “Eye plays an important role in the functioning of the human body along with our other body organs. In order to nurture this sensitive organ we have organized free eye camp for general public of Jammu”.
The eye specialist from Centre for eye Sight Dr. Sudesh Raina was invited for this camp.
The people attending the free eye check up camp were evaluated for vision (refractive error), eye problem and those requiring surgery were advised surgery. A total of 175 Individual were screened for eye related diseases and patient with minor problems were given specific medicines as well, also professional guidance were given to the patients regarding treatments and managements if they were suffering from cataract and also other eye related diseases.
“The objective of the general eye check up was to facilitate early deficiency among people and provide a tip on caring for and protecting their eyes. This exercise has been undertaken under our Corporate Social responsibility programme and we will continue to organize more such events in near future.” said Stephen Ganon, General Manager Grand Plaza Lords Inn.
