JAMMU: A fourth batch of 2799 Shri Amarnath pilgrims today left from Yatri Niwas base camp here for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir.
“Total 2799 vehicles left this morning in a cavalcade of 90 vehicles,” an official here said.
He said that the yatries were comprised of 2112 male, 503 females and 184 sadhus.
Pilgrims left for Pahalgam and Baltal to perform the pilgrimage in 90 vehicles including 55 buses and 35 light motor vehicles.
The Yatra is smoothly heading on Jammu-Srinagar national highway. (AGENCIES)
