Four injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 3: Four persons were injured today in separate road accidents occurred in city and its outskirts.
According to a police official, a speeding Tavera vehicle this morning hit and seriously injured a pedestrian namely Rajinder Chand (47) son of Rattan Chand, resident of House Number 129, Sector-2, Vikas Nagar, Jammu, at KC Chowk.
He said another mishap occurred at Kaluchak, where a motorbike was hit by an Army vehicle. “Two persons travelling on the bike were injured in the mishap,” he said, adding, the injured were identified as Poli Devi (38) wife of Anil Kumar and Mohan Lal (58) son of Ram Dass, both residents of Bandrali (Bishnah).
The official further informed that two bikes collided with each other at Shakti Nagar, resulting into injuries to rider of one of the bikes involved in the mishap. The injured was identified as Ashwani Kumar (35) son of Rattan Lal of Purkhoo Camp (Domana).
“All the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while concerned police had taken cognizance in all three cases,” he added.
