Srinagar, July 25: Former Principal of Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, Dr. Qazi Masood, passed away today after a prolonged illness.
He served as Principal from August 2011 to September 2012.
Dr. Masood was previously the Head of the Department of Dermatology at GMC Srinagar and was also the husband of Prof. Shahida Mir, former Head of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at GMC Srinagar.
GMC Srinagar staff expressed deep shock at the news of Dr. Masood’s passing away and held a condolence meeting in his honour.
