JAMMU, July 3: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) has demanded filling up of the Chairman post of Board of School Education (BOSE).
Addressing the meeting of the party workers, Ajay Kumar, general secretary, SDP and Deepu Ronetra, provincial president said that the post of BOSE Chairman is lying vacant for the last three months and the Government is not taking any step to fill up the same.
The responsibility of the BOSE has been given to Commissioner Secretary who sits in Civil Secretariat Srinagar. Due to the absence of Commissioner Secretary lots of problems were being faced by students in particular and people in general.
SDP leaders demanded filling up of the vacant post of the BOSE Chairman at the earliest, so as to provide relief to the students’ vis-à-vis people.
Among others present were Gursagar Singh, State youth president, Kamaljeet Singh, JL Chopra, Vishal Chowdhary, Balwinder Charak, Subash Baba and Daljit Singh.
