Feroz Khan reviews winter preparedness, takes stock of developmental activities

KARGIL, Nov 7: In order to take the stock of winter preparedness in Drass including COVID-19 mitigation measures besides to review the status of ongoing works in the Sub Division, Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan convened a meeting of the concerned officers at Dak Bungalow here today.
Executive Councillor for Horticulture Aga Syed Mujtaba Mosavi, Executive Councillor for Works Mubarak Shah Nagvi, Executive Councillor for Health Mohammad Ali Chandan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Tsering Motup, Councillor Bhimbhat Aga Syed Mohammad Shah Almosavi, Superintending Engineer PWD Kargil Ved Prakash, Superintending Engineer Mechanical Kargil, SDM Drass Asgar Ali, ACD Kargil Ghulam Mohammad, Executive Engineers of R&B II, I&FC, and PDD, officers of Health, Education, Agriculture, Cooperatives, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest and Wildlife besides other concerned district and sub-divisional officers were present in the meeting.
The CEC took sector-wise details from the officers about the progress achieved on the implementation of various developmental works under different sectors and also sought details about the physical and financial achievements registered so far.
The officers of Rural Development, Agriculture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Education, Cooperatives, Forest and Wildlife and other Departments apprised the CEC in detail about the status of different works of their departments.
The CEC asked officers to gear up their efforts to achieve the projected targets so that the objectives of different schemes are achieved in time and the benefits of the Government schemes and developmental works reach the masses in the most satisfactory manner.
The CEC also met a number of public delegations at Dak Bungalow Drass to know about their developmental needs and grievances. CEC Khan gave a patient hearing to each and every issue projected by the delegations and assured them to take up the issues with the concerned authorities for redressal.
