Fatehgarh lifts Volleyball trophy at Kotla

JAMMU, Sept 1: Fatehgarh emerged victorious in a volleyball tournament organised at Kotla near the Arnia border, defeating Pindi in an exciting final.

District President Jammu Rural Congress Neeraj Kundan, who was the chief guest, congratulated the winners and appreciated the Pindi team for putting up a strong fight. Dwarka Choudhary, Constituency In-charge, was also present and encouraged the participating players.

Kundan praised the players for displaying discipline, teamwork and determination, saying sports play an important role in developing confidence, leadership and a healthy competitive spirit among youth.

He stressed the need to keep young people away from drugs and other harmful activities, stating that sports provide a positive and constructive avenue for channelising their energy and talent.

"Our youth are the strength and future of our society. We must encourage them to participate in sports and other constructive activities," Kundan said.
