UDHAMPUR, Oct 9: In a bizarre incident, a farmer died when a diesel run Tiller Machine fell on him while working in the field at Chenani.
The deceased was identified as. Madan Lal (35), son of Krishan Lal of Mantalai, Chenani. He was tilling with the diesel run tiller machine, which suddenly fell on him. Locals rushed to the spot and shifted him to PHC Sudhmahadev where doctors referred him to CHC Chenani in a serious condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Chenani hospital.
Meanwhile, two pedestrians were injured when Tipper hit them ear Garnai. The injured were identified as Amit Singh, son of Karnjeet Singh of Battal and Pardeep Singh, son of Chur Singh of Garnai. Both of them have been admitted in District Hospital Udhampur.
