FADA launches free shuttle service for Shri Amarnath Yatris

JAMMU, July 7: Reaffirming its commitment to community service and public welfare, the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) today launched two free shuttle service for Shri Amarnath Yatris, providing seamless transportation from Jammu Railway Station to Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas.

The initiative was aimed at assisting the thousands of pilgrims arriving in Jammu by rail, ensuring a safe, convenient and hassle-free transfer to the Bhagwati Nagar base camp, the primary transit point for the annual pilgrimage.

The service was flagged off by Vishesh Mahajan, Transport Commissioner, along with Sanjay Aggarwal, Chairperson FADA J&K, Jasmeet Singh RTO Jammu, Sanjay Mahajan, Sahil Mahajan and Abhimanyu Gupta, Senior members of the FADA Jammu.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Aggarwal said, “The Shri Amarnath Yatra is one of India’s most revered pilgrimages, drawing devotees from every corner of the country. Through this free shuttle service, FADA is privileged to support the yatris by making their onward journey from the railway station more convenient and comfortable. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to service and our belief that industry can play a meaningful role in contributing to important public causes.”

The Transport Commissioner, Jammu & Kashmir, commended FADA for partnering in this public service initiative and highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in ensuring efficient transport arrangements for pilgrims during the Yatra.

He expressed hope that the free shuttle service would make the pilgrimage more accessible and comfortable for devotees from across the country.
