REASI, Feb 28 : Deputy Commissioner Reasi Sushma Chauhan today took a detailed review meeting to assess the progress of land acquisition cases of Katra-Barmulla Railway line falling within the jurisdiction of Reasi district.
Threadbare discussion was held on various important issues with regard to land acquisition and removal of impediments/ shifting of utilities, payment of crop compensation, rent/compensation for mined/de-mined areas etc.
The other important issues taken up during the meeting included de-notification of land falling out of new alignment, proposal for already acquired land, forest clearance for New alignment, mutation of pending cases, maintaince of Red Accounts
Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned executing agencies to expedite the process of land acquisition so that the vital project would not be delayed and completed in a fixed time frame and also directed to process the data the pertaining issues as soon as possible.
Among others, ADC Reasi Shiv Khumar Gupta, Collector Land Acquisition-Northern Railway, SDM Mahore, DFO Mahore, DFO Reasi besides other senior officers of various departments attended the meeting.
