KATHUA, Oct 31: The Excise sleuths of Kathua district during a raid in various villages of the district today destroyed 750 kgs of lahan, raw material of illicit liquor which is highly hazardous and injurious for health.
The Excise Team Kathua was led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Vikas Anand & Inspector Excise, Arun Kumar along with excise staff. To arrest the menace of illegal distillation of liquor they raided upper Saktachak and Dhabwal areas of Kathua district.
The raid was conducted on the directions of the Excise Commissioner, Mohd. Javed Khan under the supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Syed Muried Hussain Shah.
