KARGIL, Nov 19: Former MLC, prominent religious cleric and vice president of the Anjuman Jamiatul Ulema Isna Asharia Kargil, Aga Syed Jamaluddin Mosavi, passed away here this morning.
The demise of the former MLC was widely mourned across the district with Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan describing him a versatile orator and an outstanding religious scholar whose death is a great loss to the society.
Meanwhile, the Executive Council of LAHDC Kargil in a message condoled the sad demise of Aga Syed Jamaluddin who was also a former Councilor of LAHDC Kargil.
