JAMMU, Feb 17: Two persons including an Engineering student were found hanging in the areas falling under the jurisdictions of Bahu Fort and Domana Police Stations.
As per police sources, a 20-year-old engineering student identified as Shagun Ganjoo, daughter of Ramesh Chander Ganjoo was found hanging with fan hook at her residence at Shanker Vihar, Sector 1 Extension Trikuta Nagar.
However, a 35-year-old man identified as Ajit Verma, son of Tara Chand, a resident of Upper Barnai District Jammu was also found hanging at his residence.
After conducting autopsy, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Bahu Fort and Domana Police have taken cognizance in this regards.
