REASI, Jan 27: Taking a tough stand against the encroachments of footpaths and public roads, the administration today removed non-licensed Reharis, Pharies and illegal structures.
With the help of Police, Municipal Committee Reasi along with the District administration, launched drive against the illegal encroachment of public roads, footpaths and Chowks. Machines were deployed for removing the illegal encroachment and heavy deployment of Police was made to avoid any untoward incident.
The drive was held at Bus Stand Reasi where large number of Reharies and Pharies were removed and seized accordingly. Dy SP Headquarters Nikhil Gogna led the Police contingent.
Maintaining that the District administration has some plans to beautify Reasi, the DDC appealed locals to help in beautification of the town.
