JAMMU, June 11: Reiterating their demand for immediate appointment of full-fledged Chairman as well as Secretary of the Board, Employees Association J&K State Board of School Education has alleged chaos in the headless BOSE.
Talking to media persons, here today, president of the Employees Association, Rajesh Choudhary accused the officiating Chairman of being hostile towards employees and biased. “Employees are being transferred from one post to other besides giving creamy sections to some touts,” he alleged and appealed the Government to order appointment of honest and dedicated Chairman as well as Secretary in the BOSE to bring back the lost glory of this prestigious organization.
Mr Choudhary also demanded a probe into alleged misuse of official position and financial irregularities in the BOSE during the last four months. He alleged that due to unprecedented delay in appointment of full fledged Chairman and Secretary, a chaos like situation was prevailing in J&K BOSE. “All the important issues are pending while the Government seems least bothered about the grievances of employees,” he said.
Mr Choudhary also highlighted the BOSE employees’ demands, which include DPC for various cadres, implementation of transparent transfer policy in BOSE, restoration of Risk Allowance to the employees, regularization of daily wagers, implementation of new recruitment and promotion rules for BOSE employees, recovery of amount, which is lying with the Education Department on account of supply of textbooks and appointment of permanent Junior Assistants in BOSE.
The Association general secretary Jatinder Singh, secretary Lal Chand, Satpal Singh and S Iqbal Singh were also present in the press conference.
