JAMMU, Mar 15: A public darbar was organized by the residents of Village Lower Magiote, Panchayat Sial Jattan hold a Public Darbar in connection with their problems. Ex Minister of State and MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta was present in the Public Darbar along with the authorities of PHE, PWD, Electrical and Irrigation Department to listen the public grievances. Political Activist Raj Kumar Bucha, Sarpanch Munshi Ram Sharma, Ram Dass Bhagat, Mohan Lal and Romesh Kumar prominent locals among others were present in the Public Darbar.
While highlighting problems of the people Naib Sarpanch, Rumti Devi divulged that the people of village Lower Magiote are facing acute shortage of drinking water for last 15 years. She further opined that the available natural water source in the village may be converted into dug well to fulfill the requirement of drinking water.
In his address Sarpanch Munshi Ram has disclosed that the people of Panchayat Sial Jattan have been ignored for last 12 years in connection with several multiple problems electric Poles, irregular supply and low voltage of electric, up gradation of Middle School to High School and repair of all dilapidated roads.
MLA Pawan Gupta listened to the people patiently and assured early redressal of demands. He expressed that electricity to every family is my priority during his tenure as MLA Udhampur. Gupta has given instructions to the authorities of Government departments present in the Public Darbar to resolve public problems of their respective departments on priority as soon as possible.
