RAJOURI, Jan 29: An elderly man was found lying dead at the bank of river near Abdullah bridge here this morning.
The deceased was identified as 62-year-old Mohd Akram, son of Hussain Din, resident of Chambitrar village in Rajouri. Some people noticed the man lying unconscious in shallow water at the bank of Rajouri river and informed police. The police party shifted the man to District Hospital, where doctors declared him as dead. The police registered a case and started investigation.
