RAJOURI, Aug 21: Eight bovines being transported illegally were rescued today by Rajouri Police.
According to the reports, during naka checking at Khandli Bridge, a team of Police Station Rajouri intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Registration Number JK11F-4197 when it was moving towards Rajouri.
On checking, eight bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicle with utmost cruelty. The animals were rescued and the vehicle was seized while its driver was also arrested.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 444/2022 U/S 188IPC 11PC Act was registered in Police Station Rajouri and further investigation started.
