JAMMU, June 9: A deputation of All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union (EDLWU) led by Kartar Nath and Vishwa Bandhu, advisors of the union called on Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today.
The deputation requested for implementing the SRO 59 in Jammu division and added that said SRO had already been implemented in Kashmir province.
The Deputy Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their genuine demand would be fulfilled at an earliest.
Prominent among others who accompanied the deputation include Girdhari Lal, Tara Chand, Ashiq Hussain, Vijay Kumar and Paras Ram.
