EDB holds literacy camp at Banihal

JAMMU, Oct 29: A financial literacy camp was organised by Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) Banihal branch today at Chamalwas Banihal.
The camp was addressed by  Parvinder Bharti, Chairman of the Bank.
Large number of people attended the camp. General awareness was created about the various welfare  schemes launched by the Bank to suit the local masses especially the poor and downtrodden. Participants were also conveyed the benefits of PM’S social security schemes.
Bharti highlighted the role of the Bank in implementing  various Government programmes and the products launched by the Bank to cater the day to day needs of the people of the State. He also told that the Bank is committed to serve the people to their entire satisfaction which is its utmost priority.  He said more such camps will be organized in the area to make people financially literate so that they can take informed financial decisions.
R K Razdan, Branch Manager of Banihal Branch complimented the people for their whole hearted participation and making the literacy camp a grand success.
Puneet Bansal from Head Office and Naresh Fotedar from Regional Office also participated in the literacy camp.
