DODA, July 7: Everest Cricket Club (ECC) Bhalessa registered a convincing win over Ali Cricket Club (ACC) Chanderkote by 5 wickets in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship being played at Sports Stadium Doda, here today.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda with the active support of District Administration and District Police Doda.
Earlier batting first after winning the toss, ACC set a target of 95 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 17 overs game. Katib Ali scored highest 24 runs while Arhan Ali scored 19 runs. From bowling side, Irshad Butt grabbed 4 wickets while Aaqib Wani and Amir Wani took 2 wickets each.
While chasing the target, ECC managed to chase the target in 10.5 overs for the loss of 5 wickets and thus won the match by 5 wickets. Irshad Butt top scored with 22 runs while Amir Rather added 15 runs to the total. From bowling side, Rashid Ali grabbed 3 wickets while Sahil Ali and Mujtaba Ali took 1 wicket each.
Irshad Butt of Everest Cricket Club was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Harish Raza and Yousuf Raza as Umpires while Sandeep Kaushik maintained the scorebook.
