JAMMU, Sept 20: The Management Committee members of Jammu University Teachers’ Cooperative Housing Society (JUTCHS) called on Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and apprised him about the problems being faced by the society regarding demarcation of the land at Pratapkot, Birpur, District Samba.
The urged the Dy CM for his intervention in getting the land demarcated and also submitted a memorandum in this regard.
The Deputy CM patiently listened to the grievances of the JUTCHS members and assured them all possible help from the administration for settling different issues related to the land. He further directed the Deputy Commissioner of Samba to immediately take up all necessary measures for completing the demarcation, mutation and other necessary formalities of the said land in the Revenue records at the earliest. Members who met Deputy CM, included Prof Avtar Singh (president), Prof Pawanesh Abrol (secretary), Prof R K Bamzai, Prof Parmeshwari Sharma, Prof S K Pandita and Prof Vinod Sharma.
