Durga Nagar residents submit memorandum to Governor

JAMMU, June 25: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) led by Roshan Lal Raina submitted a memorandum to Governor, N N Vohra at Raj Bhawan Srinagar demanding that matador service be made available from KC Chowk to Durga Nagar via Bantalab.
The memorandum said that despite the earlier directives issued by Governor of the State to RTO Jammu in the month of January this year that the matador service be started from KC Chowk to Durga Nagar no steps were taken by the concerned office in this regard till date.
The delegation informed the Governor that people especially the school going children are facing problems due to non availability of transport facilities in this hot Summer. The delegation appealed Governor to issue fresh directives to concerned authorities asking them to redress the problem of the people of the area.
