SRINAGAR, Mar 1: Police today said it have arrested a drug peddler and recovered prescribed drugs from his possession in Shaheed Gunj area here.
A police spokesman said acting on specific information police intercepted a Santro vehicle bearing registration number JK01W-2350 driven by Imran Sheikh during checking.
“On search, 2500 tablets of Spasmoproxyvan were recovered from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and a case under FIR number 12/2016 under section 8/22 NDPS was registered against him and investigation was taken up,” he said.
