JAMMU, Aug 20: Satwari Police arrested a drug peddler along with grams heroin and Rs 75,250 cash.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Sameer Jiilani under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 20 grams heroin, Rs 75,250 cash and a weighing machine and arrested the person, who was identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Ward Number 2 Bhour Camp Chatha District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 148/2022 under section 8/21/22/27-A NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
