JAMMU, Aug 21: Gangyal Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin and cash from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Inspector Joginder Singh Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma during patrolling near Sehora Bridge intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number PB10CE-1920.
During checking, police team recovered 10 grams heroin and Rs 14000 cash and arrested one person, who was identified as Chanchel Singh, son of Anar Singh of Shastri Nagar District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 93/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
