JAMMU, Sept 6: Bishnah Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 8 grams heroin from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta laid a naka at Chorli Kothey and intercepted a Scorpio car bearing registration number JK02BM-4022.
During checking, police team recovered 8 grams heroin from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Bharat Bhushan, son of Subash Chander of Dyanasar, Tehsil Bari Brahmana District Samba.
A case FIR Number 152/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
