SAMBA, June 15: District Police Samba has arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of P/S Vijaypur and recovered one gram of heroin (Chitta) from his possession today.
A Police party of Vijaypur Police Station headed by Inspector, Chaman Gorkha, SHO under the supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO, Vijaypur during vehicle checking Naka at Swankha Morh, on National Highway, Vijaypur intercepted one car bearing Registration Number JK21A-7070.
During checking of the vehicle one gram of heroin (Chitta) was recovered from the possession of the driver namely Abhishek Sharma, Son of Narinder Kumar of W.No 8, Vijaypur. The accused has been arrested and contraband item was also seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 93/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Vijaypur and investigation started.
