DODA, Jan 25: A driver was killed when the oil tanker he was driving rolled down into gorge near Kora Pani area here.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02BP-9330 was on its way to Jammu from Doda, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into Gorge near Kora Pani area, resulting into on the spot death of driver.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the body from the Gorge.
After conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The deceased was identified as Munshi Khan, son of Faquir Mohammad, a resident of Kalakote, district Rajouri.
Assar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
