KATHUA, Sept 7: The residents of Shiv Nagar Ward Number 10 are facing acute shortage of drinking water due to power failure since last 10 days.
The residents said that the shortage has occurred, due to non-coordination between PHE and PDD and the two departments are blaming each other resulting into suffering common masses. Earlier public was suffering due to general strike of PHE Department, but problem of general public for drinking water has not been redressed till yet.
It may be recalled that this area has a total population of about 4000 souls.
