Dr Parvez Abdulla elected President BGSBU Teachers Assn

RAJOURI, Mar 14: Dr Parvez Abdulla, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, has been declared the winner of the BGSBU Teachers Association presidential election for 2023.
A press statement said that the results were announced today, with Nikhil Gupta, an Assistant Professor in the Department of IT Engineering, winning the post of Vice President and Dr Mohammad Azam, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic, winning the post of General Secretary.
Dr Manmeet Singh of the Department of IT Engineering and Dr Javid Iqbal of the Department of Mathematics were elected as Joint Secretaries, while Zishan Aslam was elected unopposed for the post of Treasurer.
The newly elected members of the BGSBUTA have expressed their commitment to the fast-track growth and development of the University, collating the viewpoints of their colleagues and developing effective strategies for the betterment of the teaching and non-teaching fraternity at the University.
The entire electoral process was supervised by the Chief Election Commissioner, Dr Naseem Gul, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies, and his team.
