DPS Nagbani holds CBP on Cyber Security

JAMMU, Aug 31: Delhi Public School Nagbani organised a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Cyber Safety and Security” to sensitise teachers from various CBSE schools about the growing challenges of the digital world and the importance of safe, responsible and ethical online behaviour.

The programme was conducted by CBSE Resource Persons Sunny Kumar and Radhika Handa, who provided valuable insights into various forms of cybercrime, online threats, data privacy, cyber ethics and essential safety measures for protecting oneself in the digital space.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and awareness, followed by the opening remarks of RK Verma, Principal, DPS Nagbani. He emphasised that cyber safety is a shared responsibility and that awareness, alertness and responsible digital citizenship are essential safeguards in the online world.

The interactive sessions equipped participating teachers with practical knowledge about identifying cyber threats, protecting digital privacy, using social media responsibly and responding appropriately to suspicious online activities. The resource persons also stressed the importance of continuous awareness and vigilance in an increasingly digital society.

Mementoes were presented to the resource persons in appreciation of their valuable contribution and guidance. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Harshita Singh, Deputy Headmistress, DPS Nagbani.
