DPS Jammu organized ‘Paper Reading Contest’

JAMMU, Sept 26: Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu organized an Intersection ‘Paper Reading’ contest in the school premises for the students of class III. The topic for the contest was ‘The Power of Guru’ (Teacher).
It was an attempt to promote and inculcate the habits of reading in the students and to expand their dexterity in language. The participants enthusiastically spoke very high about the supreme role of a teacher in the society and expressed their gratitude for the fabulous mentors in molding their personalities.
The contest was adjudged by Ridhima Gupta. The first position was clinched by Yuvika Sharma and the second position bagged by Isobel Tabitha. Tapashyu Shree and Suhani shared the third position.
Besides, appreciation certificates were also announced for Riyanjeet Singh and Deetya Aggarwal.
Ms. Meenu Gupta, Headmistress upto Middle School DPS Jammu, urged the participants to enhance their language skills and attain accuracy, fluency and finesse in it, as the same will enhance their personality.
Additional Director / Principal, Dr (Mrs) D Joseph, DPS Jammu, conveyed her good wishes to all the participants and congratulated the winners for their brilliant performance.
Headmistress, DPS Jammu, Ms Ruchi Chabra and Coordinator, Primary Wing, Ms Sangeeta Jain were also present on the occasion who encouraged and appreciated their talent.
