JAMMU, June 11: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) led by its President Roshan Lal Raina met several officials of Power Development Department (PDD) and discussed power related issues.
While speaking, Raina said that all the areas of Jammu Division are facing power crisis during ongoing pandemic situation. The worst sufferers due to unscheduled power cuts are elders and COVID patients, he stated.
He added that due to increase in population, the Roop Nagar Grid Station needs augmentation immediately
Ravinder Bakshi, Members of the Committee said that power supply, sanitization regular and water supply are necessary items to sustain life during ongoing COVID pandemic.
Among others present were Maharaj Krishan Raina, Roshan Lal Koul, Satish Kissu, Bushan Lal Koul, GL Sahani, Ashok Ji, Kaka Ji, Makhan Lal Bhat, Nana Ji Bhan, etc.
