Distribution of ration, essential items continues

JAMMU, Apr 15: Distribution of ration and essential items continued in various parts of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
187 Battalion CRPF Udhampur provided ration to families of migrant labour living in Phangyal Panchayat.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders Pankaj Basotra and Chetan Wanchoo distributed free ration to needy families in Resham Garh, Bakshi Nagar.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Secretary Arvind Gupta distributed face masks and ration among the needy.
The Hoping Foundation distributed dry ration to 20 families. A kitchen was also started by the Foundation with the help of Pankaj Kumar and Tilak Raj.
BJP Corporator from Bishnah Sahil Gupta distributed masks and sanitizers among people and children of Ward Number 7.
GS Sports Club served raw food to needy 20 families under the supervision of SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania. Chairman of the Club Er Sushant Gupta, Ashok Jandyal, Deepu Jandyal and many others were present on the occasion.
On the directions of former MLA Doda and Vice- president BJP J&K Shakti Raj Parihar, free ration and masks were distributed in District Doda. At Mandal Jodhpur, District President BJP Swami Raj Sharma along with Mandal Pardhan Mahinder, Mandal General Secretary Joginder Sharma and team distributed free ration kits and masks to various BPL families. Similarly at Mandal Ghat, the team led by Mandal Pardhan Suresh Sharma distributed masks and free ration to needy families. Masks and free essentials were distributed under the supervision of Mandal Pardhan Rakesh Sharma. At Khellani and Bhagwa, Mandal teams distributed free masks and free ration kits to the BPL families. Around 118 BPL families were covered under feed the needy campaign and 1300 masks were distributed by BJP members.
Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Vinod Malhotra, along with staff distributed ration and other food items among 160 poor and needy families of Preet Nagar, Gangyal, Nanak Nagar, Prem Nagar, New Plot, Chowadhi and its adjoining areas.
Senior leader of BJP Rajeev Charak along with his team distributed ration among the needy migrant families living in Bahu Fort area. Anuradha Charak and many other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
