NEW DELHI, Dec 18:
The Central Vigilance Commission has recommended disciplinary action against 105 officials of the Ministry of Defence since 2012.
Defence Minister A K Antony told Rajya Sabha today that they are taking further action as per relevant rules.
“During the year 2012 and 2013 (up to November), the CVC has tendered their first stage advice against total 105 officials. On the basis of CVC’s advice, with the approval of competent authority, further action is taken…,” he said.
Antony was replying to a question about details of “corrupt officials” under the MoD against whom CVC has recommended action. (PTI)
