Director ACB delivers lecture to trainee officers at SKPA

JAMMU, Jan 10: Director Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Anand Jain today delivered a lecture to probationer Deputy Superintendents of Police and probationer Sub-Inspectors at R.V. Raju Auditorium of SKPA in Udhampur.
Topic of the lecture was ‘Ethics and Behavioural Changes in Police’ and it was conceived by the Director SKPA, Dr. S.D Singh Jamwal for the trainees.
Director ACB highlighted the importance of ‘ethics’ in police and stressed upon the need for a police personnel to develop professional and personal ethics.
While elaborating about the ethical behavior and their importance in police, Jain highlighted the need for imbibing the code of Do’s and Don’ts in ones professional life.
“The elements of ethical behavior include honesty, integrity, promise keeping, trust worthiness, loyalty, fairness, concern for others, respect for others and law abiding,” he said asking the trainee officers to imbibe these ethical behavior for becoming a better and professional police officer.
The Director further asked the officers to go for critical inspection of self and before taking any decision they should always keep three tests in mind viz., critical thinking test, the media test and the gut test.
At the end Mohan Lal, SSP Assistant Director (Outdoors) presented memento to Anand Jain.
