JAMMU, Aug 31: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement held a protest rally here today against the frequent traffic jams. The rally was led by Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement.
The protestors raised slogans against lack of coordination among various Government agencies due to which traffic problems are on rise in Jammu city and particularly in Jammu West Constituency.
Addressing the demonstration, Dimple threatened to start the Jan-Andolan and demanded construction of fly overs at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk, Circular roads and parking places to solve the traffic problem.
He while coming down heavily on the sitting MLAs and MPs of the Jammu said they never bothered to raise voice against the traffic problem and for the construction of the fly- overs, circular and ring roads.
He alleged that no development work is taking place in the West Assembly Constituency and only an old projects, ribbons are being cut.
