DIG Jammu distributes books among needy students

RS PURA, Jan 9:  Deputy Inspector General of Police Jammu Samba-Kathua Range Shakeel Ahmed Beig, today distributed books worth Rs.50,000 among the needy students of border villages at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School R.S.Pura under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
The DIG after handing over the books to the deserved students said that J&K Police organizes various programme under civic action programme and distribution of library books is also one of the such programme, in which Govt. Hr. Secondary School R.S.Pura was chosen for the same with a view to facilitate the needy students of border villages in enriching their educational knowledge to help them in cherishing their career.
DIG was accompanied by SP, SO to DIG Jammu, Rajnesh Pran SP, Hqrs Jammu, Randhir Singh Dy. Director Prosecution RPHQ Jammu, Parshotam Sharma, Chief Prosecuting Officer, RPHQ Jammu Prashant Mahajan and SDPO R.S.Pura Diwakar Singh.
Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School R.S.Pura B.R.Sharma thanked the Police Department in choosing Govt. Girls Hr. Secondary School for distribution of books. He further said that these books would definitely help the needy students for preparing them for exams and competitions.
