KATHUA Mar 6: A team of Police Post Chadwal apprehended three persons including the owner of the dhaba and his assistant involved in sale of illicit liquor at food stall (Dhaba).
Acting on a tipoff about sale of illicit liquor at food stall by its owner in the jurisdiction of Police Post, Chadwal, Police team led by SI Rahul, incharge Police Post, Chadwal conducted raid and apprehended three persons namely Naresh Kumar, S/o Pritam Das, R/o Hariachak, Rajbagh, food stall owner, Balwinder Singh, S/o Rashpal Singh, R/o Chandwan, Chadwal Kathua and his assistant Kali Das S/o Ram Ditta R/o Balahar Chadwal Kathua. Both the owner and his assistant were facilitating liquor consumption illegally at food stall.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigation.
