JAMMU, June 5: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) today held a protest demonstration against PDD for imposing long duration power cuts in rural and urban areas of the winter capital.
The workers of DF&SS led by its president Ashok Gupta raised slogans against PDD.
The protestors alleged that during the ongoing summer season, power cuts are on rise, which are creating manifold problems for the people especially old age and kids.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta held Chief Minister, who is also holding the portfolio of PDD Minister responsible for long duration power cuts and demanded construction of another receiving station of 50 MVA at Janipur.
He warned the Government that if power supply does not improve the people will not pay power tariff to PDD.
Among others present were Birbal, Sukhdev, Tarseem, Geeta, Veena, Janak, Bawa, etc.
