DFSS demands CBI probe into Kathua rape case

JAMMU, Mar 10: Dogra Front & Shiv Sena (DFSS) today held a protest demanding a CBI probe into the rape and murder of a minor girl in Kathua.
Scores of activists of DFSS under the leadership of their president, Ashok Gupta, assembled here in Jammu City and raised slogans against the State police for harassing the innocent people of Kathua on the name of investigation.
While addressing the protestors, Gupta extends his support to the demand of the agitating people of Hiranagar seeking a CBI probe in the alleged murder case so that the real culprit is punished and the innocents are not harassed and tortured. “CBI is an independent and autonomous agency and only probe through this agency could restore peace in Kathua and Samba districts”, he added.
Gupta also demanded deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis from Jammu, stating that they constituted a grave threat to the Jammu’s demography and national security. He expressed serious concern over the settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis around vital Army installations and said there should be a probe to find who settled them there endangering the national security.
The party people who were present at the time of protest were Sukhdev, Tony, Raj Kumar, Ajay, Sham, Bantu, Kalu, Dinesh, Abhishek and various others.
