JAMMU, Oct 28: The activists of Dogra Front (DF) and Shiv Sena (SS), Jammu & Kashmir under the leadership of its president, Ashok Gupta took out a procession from Rani Park to Chowk Chabutra via Pacca Danga by holding empty utensils in their hands against the CAPD Department for not supplying ration and kerosene oil to the people of Jammu till date.
The protestors threatened to ghearo the CAPD Minister as the ration dealers have deposited the money with the department since but ration was not provided to them till date. They said the Samba, Parmandal, Vijaypur, Kathua, Ghagwal and Mud blocks are affected most.
They said even after the hike in prices of sugar and flour no ration was provided which has left people in the state of starvation. Besides they decried the shortage of kerosene oil also.
Mr Gupta through a letter informed the CAPD Minister about the problems and urged him to settle the same immediately.
